I'm happy Logan Thomas is gone. I didn't want anything to do with that man as a 9er player.

I don't mind the Ellington pick and Logan Thomas to Arizona.

If Arians can get him anywhere close to his ceiling, Dear Lord! :L And Arians is one of the best fits in the entire league for him.

OBVIOUSLY if he stays where his floor is at he could be out of the league in a few years. This has HOME RUN or GRAND SLAM potential.

Logan Thomas is garbage. I watched a lot of VT games & he was simply horrible.

I think he broke Arians QB rushing record at VT so this may be a homer pick, but I think Savage or McCarron would have been better.

@Pozz What are your thoughts on Savage vs Gabbert? Not implying we should take Savage with next pick but still curious.

Hmm, Ted. Carl Bradford this early? Not for me. Clay and company will be a good example for him.

Just checkin' in. Ellington in the 4th huh? I can live with that. Would've much rather stuck around for Moncrief instead of trading back, but Ellington's pretty good.

This means someone's getting cut though. There are already 7 WRs on the roster.

Would much rather have Savage but I'd rather have Mettenberger McCarron and these supposed character concerns they both bring over Savage or Gabbert. Granted if there's something I don't know about Mett or McC I could change my mind but what I do know it wouldn't prevent me from rooting for either at this point.

Oh man, too bad your boy McGill is a Raider CP. The 4th round is actually decent value for him IMO.

Did you like him as a CB or safety?

Now we can't overkill on offense, in the past couple of days we have added Johnson, Hyde, Martin, Thomas, Ellington. As much as I wanted the Black Mamba, the Ellington pick sorta destroyed that hope. I think we should look into Jackson Jeffcoat here. Or Purifoy.

Spiller is not going anywhere. Jackson's roster spot may be in jeopardy though. He's like 49 years old still playing in the league.

Even at his advanced age, Jackson is a superior RB to Spiller. Also they are both on the final year of their contract if I am remembering correctly, they also are reluctant to dish out big money from what I had read. Trading for Brown doesn't bode well for him.

For the 49ers, I'd have exhausted all avenues with him at CB. For the Raiders I'd start him at CB but his best shot with them might end up being at safety.

Whats good for him is that he doesn't have to touch the field for at least a year, he can work on his mechanics, expand the mental aspects of the game and learn the position. He could be dangerous in a couple of years.

Yes, Green Bay. PLEASE play Carl Bradford inside. Please do it! And do it all game long when the 49ers face the Packers in the future. I dare you! :)
