Murray was the 1 fallback option I had if Mettenberger and McCarron were gone. Only so/so into Murray but I could've lived with it later.

I don't think they will. They only had 2 QBs on the roster last year, and any rook who gets drafted now will have a tough time beating Gabby out.

With where this team is at with the position numbers game, my list in this draft is getting pretty, pretty small now.

Carrethers to the Chargers is interesting. He's huge. Used to a wrestle. In extremely good shape for a guy that size. Clean off the field. Can really, really hit when he lowers.

Well it's entirely possible. You-probably-think-this-song-is-about-you isn't exactly Peyton Manning. But I'd give Gabs the edge against the QBs who are left though.

That said, I like Connor Shaw.

Rob Ryan will LOVE Vinnie Sunseri. He was only a good fit for a couple of teams IMO. I'd argue there were better players left but from a coach/player relationship standpoint, Sunseri is a logical match there.

CP, what's your take on Antonio Richardson? UDFA due to the bum knee?

Ronald Powell is a really nice developmental player for the Saints again here.

Saints take Ronald Powell! If the Niners didn't take Aaron Lynch I'd be mad.

They're essentially the same player at this point IMO.

Reaser is a Baalke type pick. Really strong. He was sent home from the Combine after medicals. He tore his ACL last year.
