Not the former Notre Dame player I wanted.

Potential is through the roof with Lynch if he can keep his head on straight.

So both Baldwin & Osgood get cut?

I like Coleman, but Baldwin has a year in the offense & wouldn't cost a draft pick.

I loved Baldwin believe me. I just have a man crush on Coleman. It will b e interesting to see where he goes. He's just smooth.

Aaron Lynch. He started his college career at Notre Dame. A LOT of people thought he was going to explode and go high but he fell off and never panned out like a lot of people thought he would. There's been some questions how much he really likes football and if he's committed to having a long career. Obviously the 49ers specifically don't have those kinds of concerns.

He's lighter than he used to be and some people think that may have contributed to his decline. I think he dropped about 15 lbs. Personality wise he just comes off as a little odd to me like he needs to mature a little bit.

I think the 49ers are taking a bit of a risk here but he does have a higher ceiling if he gets back to the kind of player he was in streaks a couple years ago. It wouldn't shock me if he never makes the roster.

he just needs to be coached again. let him get under the 49ers weight program and give him 1-2 years. this is a swing for the fence pick.

Seahawks area scout Todd Brunner said Kevin Pierre-Louis reminded him of "a guy" he scouted while at SF. That guy? Navorro Bowman.

I always liked Brunner when he was with SF. 49ers gave him his own column and he was one of the more likeable scouts I've ever heard from. KPL is a scary get by the Seahawks, though. I don't like that one bit.

I'd like it a lot more if he wasn't so..........odd. I'm trying to think of the right words. He just rubs me the wrong way as a person. I don't know who I'd pair him up with on the roster to help him develop either.

I don't know anything about Aaron Lynch, but there must be some huge red flags for a 1st rd prospect to go in the 5th.

Also, I wonder if the eventual plan is to get Donald up to about the 290 range.

Not to worried about it. He a 5th round pick. That could get cut later. Remeber the 49ers have a full roster.
