I think they will likely sign two CB's and then draft at least one maybe two as well.

Two FA CB's? It is possible the second one comes with solid value, so that is ok. But on the surface, i'd rather draft two CB's. Draft one within the first three rounds, another one later. The second one to back up the NB spot.

I think they add one of the top guys and another depth type and still draft two as you said they have Witherspoon and not much else. Honestly I think they add four between the draft and free agency.

D.J. Chark, LSU. The nearly 6-foot-3 wideout blazed in the 40, running the fastest time (4.34) on the day. He had a 40-inch vertical too. And Chark weighed in at 199 pounds, so you're looking at a rather large, explosive speedster. Expect Chark to rise up boards, and he could be looking at a second-round selection.

Yes and not much else, K'waun Williams is a fictional e player but that doesn't leave much. So at best they have two and should probably have at least 5 or 6. So the need to add 3 to 4 more CB's.

We have Witherspoon and Williams, then not much else. Earlier you posted we only have Witherspoon.

Ok, we add a starter in free agency, draft one 'high', and draft one 'low'. That brings the total to 5 CB's. We don't want to draft too many CB's 'high', cause you end up placing them on the PS.

There is the question of Ward being moved or backing up NB/CB? But we simply don't know yet. Colbert backing up CB?

BTW - Is Nelson suited for the outside zone scheme? Cause we don't want to alter the scheme or limit the scheme, if that isn't his game. Same with Hernandez of UTEP.

I think both Nelson and Hernandez are athletic enough to play any system.

He'll be an interesting mid-to-late rounder. As weak as the WR class is this year, he graduated at the right time.

This appears to be a reasonable scenario cause in the end, teams have to chase a QB. So if this played out, which trade down works best?

i'd take the smallest trade down which is Miami at 11th. We can't gain a 2nd rounder earlier than our 2nd rounder, so 11th doesn't take us TOO FAR from a very good prospect.

I've seen Ward will get reps at CB so they may be looking at a Safety in the draft instead of a CB early in the draft.
