Nos. His offense is too much for Hockey's defense, especially the weak D-line and safeties.

I think it is very close, I like the power speed combo of Brown/Charles a lot, and Charles receiving is also a perfect compliment to Brady. I like Nos's trench players more and Marino finally has a ground game to back him up!

I think overall I go NOS, but I have gone back and forth several times on this one

Don't love Hockey's offense... Don't like how he has no receiver over 6-2 and that includes TE... don't like how both of his RBs don't block... and I don't think his offensive line is good enough to get over this... Even though I do love the Pound of Jim Brown with the speed and elusiveness of Charles... But Charles has also not done enough in his career to be considered good enough...

I got Nos... Sorry Hockey!!!

I really like what Hockey did on offense, and I thought in reviewing them he would be tough to beat, but I really think he made a mistake with his defense. Strahan and Allen were great 4-3 ends, but in this scheme, as 5Techs, they are undersized, and their pass russ ability isn't the same factor. I think if instead of Huff or Lambert, he'd have added a DT and gone 4-3, this would have been a much tougher one to call, but there's no way Nos' strong team wouldn't take advantage of that mismatch

Nos

This is tough as hell... I've gone back and forth a bunch and the smallest big mistake is Strahan playing a 3-4 end... That's not enough of a deal breaker though... All things a nose hair to even I gotta lean with Nos being more explosive... Sorry Hockey, at this point it had to go with player preferance and Nos has a few more for me... Great job by both...

Nos - 35
Hockey - 34

I disagree Milk, Hockey's oline is pretty solid... Turley is the weak link but he's better than Gross... Sorry Nos :noidea:

My bad for having a confusing post. Wasn't knocking on his oline, I agree it is very solid. Just don't think it is a strong enough strength to compensate for the other weaknesses I saw.

Sorry hockey but my biggest pet peeve in football drafts is playing 4-3 DEs at 3-4 DEs. Who between Strahan and Allen is two gapping against the run? Or even the pass their job is mostly two gap to let OLBs make plays. Nod would run all over you. The Bears switched to a 3-4 this year and played Allen at OLB not DE. Nos

Lol that's ridiculous. Charles carries an offense by himself. HOF RB

how is it ridiculous??? I am not saying he is not great, but to be in a mock with other Greats, he is weak... He has never hit the 2000 all scrimmage yard plateau... He only had double digit TDs twice in his career, and only had over 15 once... Only had 2 seasons of an AV of over 15...

I would rather have seen a chris Johnson or a tiki barber...

Charles is perfect for Brady. Like literally the perfect running back. Especially when already having Brown.

I got into trouble with my defense and had to go 3-4 when I already had my ends picked.

Neither could hold Charles' jock

I'd rather have Charles than those two.....

I really like some of what Hockey did, love his starting corners, love his O-line although Turley is not better than Gross, nastier yes better no. I just believe my team is more explosive on offense, imagine Marino with these receivers. Both of my running backs are 230+ pounds and with his d-line being completely out of position I could just pound away until they got tired and fire away at will. I also believe even though Brady is a very good QB my secondary is one of the best if not the best in this draft.

I got me.
