Of course Roger Craig still hasn't gotten in either and I have no idea why he can't get in. I mean if Edgerrin James can get in I don't see how Craig can't.

James has a better case than Bruce. At least EJ has multiple 1st team All Pro selections. Bruce was a very good player for a long time, and started his career when pass rules really started ramping stats up, but there are many defensive players that deserve it more than him.

1. Two WRs in NFL history have 1000+ receptions, 15,000+ receiving yards, 90+ TDs, and Super Bowl winner. Jerry Rice is one, Isaac Bruce is another.

2. James has no ring while Isaac Bruce made the game winning catch in the Super Bowl.

3. Bruce had 1300+ yards receiving in one year where sorry Tony Banks was his quarterback, and sorry Lawrence Phillips was the runningback. He was the Rams offense, there was not Holt.

4. James played in 13 postseason games, he only rushed 100 twice and he needed 20+ carries in both while Bruce had 4 hundred yard receiving games out of 9.

That's nice and all...but your yellow and blue tinted glasses don't fool me. Isaac Bruce has zero 1st team All Pro team selections, only 4 Pro Bowl selections, and wasnt part of any all decade team. His career started in 1994, when passing/receving stats started shooting through the roof. James has him beat in two of those three categories, which generally determine who was actually the better player at his position.

Fuck....I can say that Bryant Young would be a more valid choice for the HOF than Bruce, although the hall has an obvious bias for offensive players, but I'm not some homer for everything my team. Young isn't a HOF in my eyes, and neither is Bruce.

Ah well whatever. Set the rushing QB record. Guess a guy has to come along every once in a while that will be out of the league in his mid 20s because he can't throw for shit but looks flashy running, to win the MVP.

This guy is almost guaranteed to get injured next year. Fun to watch granted.
