Every year someone emerges as a contender. Look at at the saints current FO changes(that are actually CHANGES not no band aids this time) as a reason for why. Also, someone is always ready to pounce on a team's slipup from the previous season. Only exception was 2014. That was supposed to be the saints year to win division but they found a way to lose it.

Yup the Bills, Lions, and Jaguars. Man the Bills suck. They've only finished 2nd twice and have never won more than 9 games. At least the Lions and Jags have multiple playoff appearances. Plus the Lions lost the division by 1 game twice, and the Jags had a 12-4 season in there (just the Colts went 14-2).

Yup the Bills, Lions, and Jaguars. Man the Bills suck. They've only finished 2nd twice and have never won more than 9 games. At least the Lions and Jags have multiple playoff appearances. Plus the Lions lost the division by 1 game twice, and the Jags had a 12-4 season in there (just the Colts went 14-2).

You get in a bad rut with the QB position and bad shit can happen to an NFL franchise.

I don't know if I'd go that far. If there was parity in the league then not winning your division in that span is in 1/128 territory and not 4/32 territory.
