Whew. I guess who can blame Clay Steroids for trying to injure Staley again, when he busted his nose week 1 it took Staley out of his game and Clay HGH had a pretty big game.

Just looking at the Box Score, 49ers had 455 yards in the 1994 SuperBowl, 461 yards in the 1989 Super Bowl against Denver.

And 579 yards tonight.

I wish you guys would stop mentioning Alex unless you are talking about Boone. CK is are QB and that is all that matters. Smith more then likely won't be here next year so unless CK gets hurt lets not mention Alex Smith anymore.

True. Well their defense sucks, and I hope they scapegoat Don Capers and fire him because then GB will be even worse on defense. GB typically scapegoats the defensive coordinator when the Packers lose, to try and protect the image of their QB.

As a Vikes fan, I would love to see Capers gone. TT likes to build through the draft, we'll see what he does with that defense this offseason.

I'd be surprised if they can get anything for him. Not because I think people don't want him, I am pretty sure a handful of teams will show interest in Alex when he is available.

But, with what Kaep just did, it points more to the 49ers definitely cutting Alex instead of paying him so much to be a backup, so some of those teams might just roll the dice and wait for him to get cut and hope nobody else trades for him.

Hopefully one team shows interest in trading for him, an then Baalke can work his magic and maybe turn it into a 2 or 3 team bidding war for Alex.
