Which then somehow caused Marcus Morris to renege on an agreement that had been reached with the Spurs and sign with the Knicks...

Then, Marcus and Markieff decided to part ways with Rich Paul because of this so that it would throw people off the scent that they were trying to keep him from the Clippers.

And all of this took place while the Clippers were negotiating with Kawhi and trying to trade for Paul George...
