I have officially changed my mind about the next HC hire. Originally, I was dead set on hiring an offensive-minded HC and I still lean heavily towards that move. That said, there are two defensive-minded coaches that I could get 100% behind. I know that the first guy won't be available but if the Steelers do something crazy and part ways with Tomlin he would be a great hire here. The other guy is Brian Flores current DC with the Vikings! What's the board's thoughts on these two guys?

My pennance is done. I distributed 99 of them directly to his biggest fan, none other than the sporty one, at his gaily decorated domicile, and the last one was distributed directly to coach/buffalo nickel guy for comedy’s sake.

I was wrong, EB shouldnt be head coach.

I gave Ron three years and after the Bears debacle this year, I bailed. Some bailed immediately. Gotta give @duke1861 his props there.

I just hope the new guy gets some grace since it's not a Dan Snyder hire. I'm generally a pretty impatient person myself. Especially when it comes to things I'm passionate about.

If things start off slow for some reason next year, lets remind one another that Joe Gibbs started off 0-5 and Marty got off to a rough start too. All he did after leaving here was go to San Diego and coach his ass off for five years.

Sorry I have been an annoying butt head the last few years. I am NOT the smartest one in the room..that has been proven several times.

No apologies necessary. We are all entitled to our own fandom. How you were with Rivera, I was the same way with Haskins. I'm sure I annoyed a few, but I knew. I was watching that draft praying someone was going to draft Haskins and save us from ourselves.
