You get suspended if you're penalized for it. It won't happen because it's a rarely called penalty. I don't think it's a horrible tactic because again, it works. It's annoying and I wish that refs would get a bit better at noticing it, but it's hard to catch without the benefit of slo-mo and replay...but I won't call it cheap. We could simply have definitions of the word, but I'd rather my player try to embellish a call than go out there and try to take out a guy's knee.

Well you're lucky as neal does both! You do realize that neal was called 3 times this year but the league "forgot" to send him the warning letters so he wasn't suspended.

You are comparing diving to cheap shots saying who they are the same. So we will take two examples. Dorsett with his maybe dive into the boards and Simmonds beating Zucc from behind. Dorsett would only hurt himself while Simmonds went out of his way to try and injure another player for no apparent reason other then Zucc scored. See the difference

Dorsett took out Streits skates heading into the boards way more dangerous than a slap to the head why do you think they changed the icing rules?

I just find it ironic that the guy in this thread complaining about personal attacks on Twitter is retweeting racist remarks about Simmonds. Never said every Ranger fan was doing that.

Haha, just watched the game (DVRed it, had to work during the actual game), cheered a bit, headed over to the computer and straight into the shitstorm of '14. While I'm here, might as well add to the fire:

just having fun with ya.Playoff hockey seems to bring out the best in personal attacks,and he said/she said crap.I'm not going to defend what Simmonds did,cause I have no idea what he was thinking,with a 3 goal cushion.Shit happens for the stupidest reasons,and there are no saints in playoff hockey.
