It's also hypocritical to rag on him when you have a douche like dorsett on your team. Who takes out a guys skates when you're racing into the end boards??? He's also a diver...what a tool!

Anyway this still wasn't a complete game from Philly they can easily play better limit those turnovers and they have a great shot tomorrow night. Go Flyers!

There is a difference between flopping and slashing a guy and then punching him in the back of the head just because he scored a meaningless goal.

I dont think im the one who needs to lay off the pills. So I guess Simmons was given a game misconduct because the refs have it out for him.

The game was over and the refs were smart to diffuse the situation. If you were the ref I could see you suspending every Flyer so you could win game 7...haha! Seriously get a grip bro. Besides divers are some of the worst cowards in sports too bad you have so many on your team.

Ha whatever you say bro. Cause being dirty is new to the flyers. I would suspend players that take cheap shots on unsuspecting players it doesnt matter the team.

Yet we don't hear you calling out your own team when they blatantly cross the line...instead you embellish everything on your opponent. I guess boyle should have been suspended for blindsiding Schenn earlier in the series??? We can keep going all night it works both ways you may not have any players left with all of the suspensions you are calling for.

New York is 13-2 in series it has led 3-2, but the Rangers have lost 12 straight games in which they had a series lead.

You should be more concerned about this than every call by the refs....

NYR is 5-0 in home game 7's. You can find numbers that work either way. Also, didn't see any of the events, but if Simmonds punched a guy in the back of the head, that's a bit worse than embellishing for a call, don't you think? Embellishing is annoying, but unfortunately it works quite a bit. It's "gamesmenship", not trying to hurt someone. Seems kind of like a weird thing to compare...cheapshots to diving.

You obviously missed when dorsett stuck his stick into Streits skates when they were racing into a corner for a puck...just a little worse than a slap the the back of the head. besides a pens fan is the last person I would take an opinion from on diving or cheap shots.

You spent multiple posts alluding to the opinion of diving being the worst thing a guy can do in the league...which is...well...odd.

You see rags fan spends all his time calling for every single penalty only on the opposition. I was just showing the character of some of his players to prove a point. Not only is dorsett cheap he's a coward diver...similar to neal but with zero skill.

Have whatever opinion you want, I just disagree that diving really says much about a players character. These guys are insanely competitive, and guess what? It works. 99% of the time it's either no call, or the penalty called on the other team. Giroux's done it too, does that make him a coward? No, it makes him insanely competitive.

At the same time you have players who do it more often than others dorsett falls into that category. You do realize that the league now keeps track of this right? You can be suspended after three occurrences because everyone agrees it's a scummy way to win a game. Well maybe not pens or rags fans...I sure don't like seeing my team do it.

You get suspended if you're penalized for it. It won't happen because it's a rarely called penalty. I don't think it's a horrible tactic because again, it works. It's annoying and I wish that refs would get a bit better at noticing it, but it's hard to catch without the benefit of slo-mo and replay...but I won't call it cheap. We could simply have definitions of the word, but I'd rather my player try to embellish a call than go out there and try to take out a guy's knee.

Except I didnt I said that Simmonds should be suspended for his gutless behavior. But like most flyer fans lost in thier own world. Now If you wanna go though the series and look and cheap shots the flyers would be a head by a lot.

You are comparing diving to cheap shots saying who they are the same. So we will take two examples. Dorsett with his maybe dive into the boards and Simmonds beating Zucc from behind. Dorsett would only hurt himself while Simmonds went out of his way to try and injure another player for no apparent reason other then Zucc scored. See the difference

I never said that the Flyers aren't aggressive but they sure aren't the old bullies yet you make them out to be this. Plus the rags are girl guides right???
