Well he's suffering from whiplash and it may be a concussion.

I truly and honestly believe that he killed some Gypsy's dog as a kid or something. No manner of luck at all. Poor guy, I really was hoping he'd slay that final dragon this year, and he still might. But not a great way to start it.

I like Mason, have since his days with the Jackets. It's a shame that he has been struggling to stay healthy, especially now in Philly where he actually found some consistency to his game. I think he'll do whatever he can to suit up for game 1, but if it's concussion like symptoms, it looks like Emery will carry the load in net. And, putting being a Rangers fan aside, that hurts the Flyers.

Would I like to face Emery? Sure, but i'm not going to sit here and root for an injury to an opposing player, much like i've seen some Flyer fans wish on McDonagh..

Can't imagine the Flyers are thrilled about what happened to Steve Mason the other day - they can't pay the Penguins back now but I think the Rangers are going to have to pay just because this is the next opponent, Rangers better not get in Ray Emery's crease or they're not going to like the result - enough of this garbage - I bet Ray Emery will make it a nightmare for them if they get anywhere close to him

Time for the Flyers to start playing smart, physical hockey against the Rangers and wear them down

Actually, if you've seen him skate, I have no problem believing he could accidentally fall on the goaltender.

He sure as hell accidentally falls everywhere else on the ice!
