I thought growing old would take longer
Nah, Stralman didn't run Mason hard, but he extended a cross check on the way down.
There are plenty of legitimate gripes you have about the refs today; that was not one of them.

Same here. I am sure he will be the first to point out a weak call if the Rangers benefit from it
I'm surprised nobody lost their shit over the called off goal - that was egregious and directly took a goal off the board. Unless the Flyers fly back into this game it might not matter, but at the time it looked important.

As far as I know, once the whistle blows the puck is dead and replay can't change that but yeah, "blown" (pardon the pun right?) call there.
At least the whistle had actually blown. I hate to even remember how many calls that were reviewed where the puck was in and yet still called off due to "intent" to blow the whistle or the phantom Holmstrom's butt was hanging over the crease so no goal.

Hey Vadered, you were 1 of the Flyers fans Jeff and I met 2 years ago right?
Not unless you met them in Minnesota.
(Nah, I keep my identity a closely guarded secret. Why do you think I have this mask on?)
Oh, ok. I know 2 came from Jersey and sat with Jeff Sly, I sat by myself amongst many Flyers fans lol, I believe Awaz came to our hotel and drove us to the game (and benefited from the parking pass I had), and we met a few others from SportsHoopla. It was a great time.
