Also when looking at the refs stats, I find it twisted that the home team has a higher win % when Chris Rooney refs than Tim Peel yet when Chris Rooney refs he calls more penalties on the home team - that leads me to believe that the Flyers might be getting some power plays early in the game and they need to take advantage

Regarding tonight. We need to win the special teams game. Our PP was great last night and we all know what Simmer did on the PP.

Mase needs to be just as sharp as well. Going to be an epic night

Agreed with all of this - of course we'd like to see them do well 5 on 5 and with the new lines I think we can sustain a little bit more 5 on 5 offense but the special teams make the difference in these games - I think the Flyers will get a couple of power plays early on so they need to get at least one goal out of it early and build off of it, just like last night

Agreed, getting right back at it after a win in the playoffs is good, it doesn't give the other team any time to prepare either

they did. just kind of shitty that the pens will be coming in on 5 days rest (guessing) and the winner will be coming in to a 4th game in 6 nights.

My Prediction for tonight's game: Flyers 4, Rangers 2 - Goals from G, Reader, Simmer and Hartsy - Jake gets at least two assists

If the NHL and the refs have anything to do with tonight's game I would expect they would rather have a Pitt vs Philly 2nd round rather than the Rags vs Pitt.

Alright boys, this is it. There's no question that we can win this game. We just need another strong performance from Mase, a better defensive effort overall and more of the same offensively. It's really not too much to ask considering we just played our best game of the series last night.
