I really hope we don't end up with Chip. IMO he brings nothing to a team that is rebuilding and seems to have no eye for talent on a roster.

agree, my opinion is clearly no.

Kaep has regressed quite a bit since Hue made those comments. he'd be foolish trying go forward with Kaep, Kaep will take him down quickly. no matter what scheme you use, the QB needs intangibles and passing skills. Kaep lacks both and his running skills will not make up for it, not even close.

There are reasons to believe the top candidates, Jackson and Kelly, would want to hold onto Kaepernick.
I guess at this moment I'm more concerned about Chip as a HC than Kap staying on as QB.

Kelly is being mentioned for damn near every opening involving a mobile QB in SF, Tenn, Cleveland (unless Manziel gets dumped soon) and even a few where they don't have a mobile QB (Detroit being the main other one).

Personally.....I think Kelly is best suited to being a college coach but some team will take a chance on him.....most likely a team with a mobile QB or one that fits Kelly's offense. He can always go back to college later to finish out his coaching career.

IMO Gase is a good hire. I think that the 'Fins will do well and compete in that division soon. I would give my left nut for Gase over Kelly.

I'm always a little hesitant on hiring guys without experience.....you never know they will turn out.

True but the number of HCs with experience is a bit limited now unless you consider older ones such as Holmgren,Shanahan, etc. who may just have past the point of knowning this new NFL.

Its looking more and more like Jackson. Word is he already has a staff ready. At DC he will bring in Vance Joseph and at OC he will bring Mike Solari. Solari should sound very familiar. he coached with the 49ers from 2008-2014. He was our OL coach. During that time we had one of the best Olines in football. Joseph is Cincy DB back coach. He also worked for the 49ers from 2006-2010.

everything is pointing to the 49ers. Again these are just rumors.
