I think it is hard to say he is on the decline, the entire team imploded. He is still only 28. I think if you can buy low betting on a bounce back it could be worth it.

On the flip side I think he raises the talent level. But he does not help the young guys reach the next level. I would be a no, but would for sure take the gamble if he was the final piece.

I have thought about this too. Not sure he is the right fit though.

I don't like the idea of trading a first rounder for an expensive rental like Ramsey.

Selling out to win next year or in a two year window is a bad bet. The odds that we win a super bowl next year (for any good team) are low. If we fill the roster with young talent it gives us a longer sustainable window to win.

I hope Holmes doesn't stray from the conservative plan he has followed. A first round pick is 5 years of cheap team control of a player. I trust Holmes to upgrade our corners through the draft or bargain free agent.

I'd be perfectly fine to see the Panthers jump the Raiders and Falcons from No.9 overall to our No.6 to draft whichever QB might be left so long as we receive their 2023 1st and 2nd round picks. I think that that's a fair deal to drop 3 slots without getting stupidly greedy.

I wouldn't object to the idea of Holmes drafting Hooker. Yes, I know, Hooker would be another player coming off an ACL injury and the fact that he'd be turning 26 years old, however, Hooker does have talent physically and mentally to work with. Hopefully, if Holmes were to draft him, it wouldn't be prior to the 3rd round at a minimum.
