If Pit can beat Cincy then the Hawks still have a shot at the NFC West Crown. What this would do is vault the Hawks SOS over the Cards. of Course we would then need the Cards to Lose to Philly ( lmao ) GB and The Hawks.

Teams that would need to win a game or two would be Dallas and Pit ( Pit against Cincy is the big one, with out this win nothing else matters )

Still a outside chance of the Division but If Philly can do what they did to the Pats against a weaker team ( the Cards ) then all we would need is for GreenBay to show up and beat them and for Pit to Beat Cincy.

I think the Hawks will be fine if they keep playing the way they are playing whether home or away. The Cards didnt look good last, and showed vulnerability even in victory. Although I do believe they pose the biggest threat, even over Carolina.

I thought for sure the Cards locked it up last night but I'm playing around with the ESPN playoff machine and there's still a path for the Hawks to win as long as we win out, Cards lose out, and a combo of other things happen with GB & Minn (none too unreasonable). The most improbable of all things that needs to happen is Cards losing the rest -- @ Philly, vs GB, vs Sea.

I'm not even worrying about it.

If this team plays to its ability it will beat any team it faces especially if Russ is playing wishing the zip code of what he is doing right now.

Um, I've been taking cold meds today so someone please enlighten me......

How does one AFC team beating another AFC team benefit the Seahawks?

If the Cards lose and and the Hawks win out, the division will come down to the strength of victory tiebreaker. If you line up the Cards' and Hawks' victories in this scenario, they will all be the same except for New Orleans & Cincy for AZ and Dallas & Pittsburgh for Seattle. Right now Cincy+NO = 14 wins and Pitt+Dal = 11 wins. So Pittsburgh and Dallas need to make up 3 wins in 4 weeks.

i think it's 14-13. all i know is if Pit Beats Cincy the Hawks vault over the Cards. Well that is if the Cards Loss out which isn't to crazy when you look how badly they played in their last game. They made the Vikings look like a legit team, when we know they are not and it's a sham. It's really to bad the Hawks let Cincy, Panthers and Cards off the hook when they played them.

After watching the Panthers, Cards, Packers play the past few weeks i think the Hawks are playing better than all of them. Sure the Panthers are still unbeaten but i have NO DOUBTS that had the Hawks and Panthers played each other in the past 3 weeks the Hawks blow them out. Same with GB and the Cards.

I've played around with the ESPN playoff machine a lot today, and the Pitt/Cincy game doesn't change anything so far as I can tell.

I'm not worried about the division personally. I just want Seattle to make the playoffs.

It would be nice to have HFA but with the way the Hawks are playing I think they can beat any team in their house.

I"m not confident yet, I"m still seeing way to many pass coverage breakdowns... 3rd and long don't cover a guy, 1st and 10 ... it's simple math really... We have to figure out WTF is going on... How easy can it be for any QB when you don't cover a receiver... #@Q$%^#@$^#@$^@

Yeah, he's definitely having a bad game thus far. We'll see if he cleans it up in the second half.

Shead had nothing to do with the slot receiver who went un-covered ... That's the crap I"m talking about.. If Shead was there and he got beat, fine...

Ok, there was a play or two that the Hawks gave up where he wasn't involed. Others have also blown coverages. But for the most part, he is the problem today on defense.

Common opponents. This go all the way down to the 6th or 7th tie breaker. Only happen if Hawks and Cards end with the same record.

May not matter anymore anyway - Dalton out, throwing hand in a cast. could be hard for Bengals to not drop another one or two before the playoffs.

Surprised Andy Dalton went for the black cast. I would've think he'd have gone red.
