Game Thread: NFL Playoffs

Watching these games the last two weeks I wanted to come in here and talk about them. Last week I was like damn no thread to talk about the games. Well enough is enough, now we got a thread to talk in about the playoffs.

So proud of Cincy winning again but I think their run most likely comes to a end against Either the Bills or KC. Looking forward to the 49ers vs GB and I am rooting for the 9ers. Hey it's all about the NFC West baby and we beat the 9ers twice. The Rams I can't root for but I also can not root for Tom Brady PERIOD! Hope they play 8 over time periods and everyone on the winning team is to gassed to play next week lol.

todays games have been very entertaining, good football to watch. I know some might be bored of a 7-3 game but not me. Seattle use to play these type games and win often. Love smash mouth defensive games, just not every week lol. Some times you just want to see stupid scoring 45-47 type games.

Sad that the Titans had to lose but lets be honest, They ran Henry to much as he was going down on the lightest of contact. Should have used the other guy that was just smashing people more often. Not to mention you have a chance to go ahead 7-6 on a Short XP kick and you decide to go for two? WTF NO! that was so STUPID! take the short XP it's like a 95%+ sure thing where as the 2 pt conv is not anywhere near 95%.

49ers defense and Special teams thats how. It happens, just look at some of the past teams in the superbowl. We have seen a few with out Franchise QB's not only make it but win it. It's just very very rare. Jimmy G is the perfect back-up QB but not a true top flight starter. He is good enough to win with because he has Deebo and Kittle to carry him and a underrated Defense. That Defense is 3rd in yards per game and doesn't get enough credit because they are 10th in points against.

Healthy Hawks Team would have won this game also if the Packers played like that against them.

Then a Team the Hawks swept for the season has won 2 games in the playoffs. Oh what could have been lol.

I think it's confirmed, Rodgers melts under the bright lights. His defense did all they could do Rodgers just couldn't deliver when it mattered.

Sure but the Packers defense also played outstanding. Rodgers just failed to deliver. He is old so I'm sure that played into it. I also would like a suffocating defense but think the team needs to rebuild before we ever see that again. Just not enough means to improve the defense until the Seahawks once again get some early draft picks. Until that happens we got to be happy with a patched together D that hopefully over achieves.

Well to be honest that punt block TD was the biggest thing this game looked all but over before that. I thought they ( the 49ers ) were dead after they failed but that punt block TD ... My god that was HUGE! THAT was the play of the game as that saved their season and allowed Gould to kick a FG for the win. That doesn't happen with out that blocked Punt TD. When they gave the play of the game to the FG I was miffed. The offense couldn't score a TD for their lives and the Special teams did it for them.

how big was that blocked FG try also! My goodness special teams for the 49ers were dominating, they had some nice returns also but it didn't help the offense much lol but it helped keep GB pushed back. Hidden yards.

I am looking forward to KC vs Buff, I hope it lives up to the hype. I think TB beats the living sheet out of the Rams which makes me sad just because I don't care at all not one bit who wins that game as I wish they both could lose but that can't happen.

49ers vs Cincy Super Bowl hmm, Cincy has never won one and was beaten twice by the 49ers in previous Super Bowls. Bills also have not won a Super Bowl, Losing 4 in a Row was brutal! Call me a softy but I always like to see teams win it that have never won it. As a fan who finally got to experience winning one in 2013 I want every teams fan base to feel that joy at least once.
