Since 2001 against teams ranked 19th or better in the country.

I'm moving on now........Texas game is over (as much as it still pains me to say).........but this week Nebraska plays an undefeated #14 team in the country on the road.

It's time to put an end to this bullshit. It's time to show up for a big game........and yes, though Oklahoma State has some weaknesses, they are undefeated and ranked ahead of us currently........this is a big game.

I don't just want to see Nebraska go into Stillwater and beat Oklahoma State.........I want to see Nebraska go into Stillwater and kick the LIVING SHIT out of Oklahoma State.

It is fucking time to start playing Husker football again. The close loss last year to Texas is nothing.........the win over Arizona is nothing........the wins we've had this year so far are NOTHING. Real Nebraska football is gonna start this weekend, and it isn't gonna end until the season's over. And I say this because I trust in Bo and his staff.

Dammit I was in a good mood until I read that we are 0-21 against decent teams since 2001

Yah, I'm still pissed at Bo. Still thinks he is the right choice. Just pissed about no big games bullshit. There are big games, admit it, prepare for them, WIN THEM!!!!

I agree with everything you say here. I am sick and tired of that can't beat a ranked team shit.

2001 - 2003 The Craig Bohl debacle
2004 - Bo Pelini fixes Bohl debacle
2005 - 2007 The Kevin Cosgrove debacle
2008 - Bo and Carl Pelini first year
2009 - NU #1 scoring D in the country

The defense was ruined for 6 years of that stretch. Bo and Carl have the defense fixed. They are playing good enough to compete with anyone no matter how high the ranking. Texas only scored 20 points and 10 of that they were given the short field.

It's time to sit down with Watson, put his career #s on the table (including pre-Nebraska), and let him know there will be offensive coaching changes at the end of 2010 'starting with him'. Start getting your resume ready and NU will give you a good reference to some other sucker.

Watson is the last Callahan holdover. He's the fuckin' zit that keeps festering. It's his offense that lost on Saturday. It was his offense that lost 3 of the 4 games last year. Penalties, turnovers, a lack of fundamentals, getting owned on the line of scrimmage, and coming out flat in skill positions are trademark Watson offenses from his days at Colorado. It's time to turn the page and excorcise the Callahan era completely.

Nope............Nebraska will win out the rest of this season. Every game on the schedule, the conference championship, and the bowl game.

I thought it through even more.........while Watson didn't call the greatest game, let's be honest, Martinez was making some very poor reads in the first half.

And let's not forget the 10 dropped passes.........seriously when it comes down to it, catch the ball and we win. Can't blame it completely on that, but that defense we played is a great defense, and we actually beat them on MANY occasions. Just gotta make the play, and we didn't do that.

Don't forget also the opening punt return where we allowed Texas perfect field position right off the bat..........then the fumble on the next play on our own 20 yard line.

This was a team effort and the more I think about it, the more I believe Bo gets this team's mindset on the right track and we're going to win out. I don't care what anyone says.

LOL........I'm going through my mid-season crisis right now. This is the time when I just plain decide that Nebraska won't lose again this season, and I actually control the rest of the season with my mind.

OU needs to beat Missouri on Saturday. NU needs to win the North Division so any losses for fellow north teams will help.

Do you really want it to go to a head-to-head tie?

I want to win the North outright

Mizzou doesn't have a chance of beating Oklahomo

I'm torn really...........if we beat Okie State, and Mizzou beats Oklahoma, then all of a sudden Mizzou is a top 10 undefeated team and Nebraska gets a chance to really redeem themselves.

But like RA said, if Mizzou beats OU we very well could end up tying for the North.

Pops is right.......it's time to roll the dice. No holding back.......the Huskers are gonna leave it all on the field every single game from here on out.
