Jets trade: Pick 101.

Patriots trade: Pick 125, Pick 129, a 2021 sixth-round pick

I like this pick. Didn't expect it but this is one of those versatile guys BB covets.

OK go get some linemen tomorrow on both sides of the ball and this was a very good draft IMO.

I got the Asiasi pick correct in DC’s mock draft. But it was in the 6th round.

I didn't predict any of these names.

I did say heavy on the D. I was thinking Defense End or OLB, DT or DE then a TE. More D and an Olinemen coming up next.

Happy the way it turned out so far.

That’s where I took Keene, as well. But given how hard it is to predict what BB will do I think we deserve full marks just for identifying a player he’d want lol.

Like I loved Dugger as a prospect but who ever would’ve imagined BB using a top 40 pick on a DII safety right?

I have been super busy at work so I have not done a lot of research this year. Based on what I see so far I like the draft. So names I was not familiar with but if the write ups are close to true I like it.

Two TEs in a row I like that. BB has done this a lot take the same position multiple times a draft

I couldn't be happier with this draft. Belichick ignores all of the mock draft bullshit and all of the talking head "Best Player Available". If this draft doesn't indicate how little faith he has in the Combine, nothing ever will. It was BB in 2007 who said, "The combine is a physical test of a player. I want to see see if they can play football, not run around cones." I'll bet the Patriots will get a C+ for this draft.

Patriots updated draft picks and my predictions for the remaining pick barring any more trades:

2a (37): S Kyle Dugger (Lenoir-Rhyne) (Chung replacement )
2b (60): LB Josh Uche (Michigan) ( Van Noy replacement)
3a (87): OLB Anfernee Jennings (Alabama) (Collins replacement)
3b (91): TE Devin Asiasi (UCLA) (Gronk replacement)
3c (101): TE Dalton Keene (Virginia Tech) (Bennet replacement)
5th-159 DL (Shelton replacement)
6th-195 OT (Cannon replacement)
6th-204 WR (Dorsett replacement)
6th-212 QB (Ben DiNucci)
6th-213 WR ( Gordon replacement)
7th-230 RB (Bronson Rechsteiner)

Then watch out for the UDFA signings.

I cant go back and catch up in this thread.
I'm pleasantly surprised that so many of you guys are happy.
There is good potential in this draft, IMHO.
Don't count out my QB pick yet.....James Morgan
