At first I hated the trade of our 1st rounder. But now seeing who is a available with pick 37 I’m perfectly fine.

Blacklock
McKinney
Epenesa
Higgins
Gross-Matos
Baun
Marlon Davidson
Joshua Jones
Delpit
Kmet

I would have been ok with any of these guys with pick 23. Now we can still get one with pick 37 and we added an early 3rd rounder. Good job Coach B.

But can we package two 3s and get two of those guys? Then package some of the abundant 4 thru 6s to get the 3 back...

BB only has four picks in front of him. The talking heads are hoping that Kmet will be there, but Belichick has never thought about the draft the same way other people look at it. If I had to bet my IRA on one of three, I think I'd go with:

McKinney
Gros-Matos
Josh Jones

If he's planning to trade Thuney, My bet goes immediately to Jones because Wynn will get moved into the LG spot and Jones will be the LT.

IF, again, IF Bill is planning to trade Thuney or has already made the deal, then Jones will be his pick becaue he won't chance the Jets, Bill or anyone else plucking him between #37 and #71.

With five picks today, my guess is that #87 or #98 will be traded. I wouldn't be shocked if he traded #37 for a mid 40's and 101-115.

That Cowboy roster could make some noise now that they have a legitimate coach instead of The Clapper

What the hell does that guy have on JJ to stay on for so long and what did JJ give him instead to keep his flap shut?

Kyle Dugger's 2020 NFL draft profile

Take a look at these highlights of former Lenoir-Rhyne safety Kyle Dugger making a name for himself in this upcoming NFL draft.

Pre-Draft Analysis
Dugger has an excellent blend of speed, length, size, and hand span. He covers a lot of ground and has the tools to match up with tight ends in coverage. He's a playmaker who picked off 10 passes and returned six punts for touchdowns in college. He's a good tackler with great stopping power. -- Steve Muench

Another head scratcher by the mad genius.

I've seen Dugger listed anywhere from the #2-#4 safety to come off the board. But also was a 2nd-3rd round pick.

Have to say I knew zero about him. I like his pre draft prospective. Hopefully Hoodie uses him to return kicks?

I didn't think S was as big a need as some other positions though. B+ rating on the kid. C+ for team need IMO.

The wait between the patriotrs' picks is agonizing. 24 more until #71.

This is farewell for Patrick Chung and his $6M cap hit.
You think BB trades Chung this season?
S was a need but not as much as a DE, LB, TE even an OG before going S.
Hope this kid pans out?

Hoping Trautman is still there in the 3rd or NE trades up into the late 2nd.

Unlike some of the other head scratching second round DB’s of BB’s tenure this kid’s athleticism is off the charts. I’m betting they will use him as a sub package LB at times. Give him a year learning from BB and DMac and then turn him loose in Chung’s role next year and watch out. This kid is absolutely dripping with potential to be an elite back 7 player.

Chung is done, He can't stray with TEs or RBs. He was beat like a drum all year. I get sick watching 2019 Patriot games and seeing him look like physically handicapped person on the field. He was constantly torched. He's what, 32. 33? Time to move on and Dugger looks like the perfect replacement. AND this kid is an open field tackler.

I'm hoping that Josh Jones is there at #71. I think Trautman will be there at $87, but if Zack Baun is still on the board, he'd be a great replacement for Elandon Roberts but he can also play against the pass.

Would love to get AJ Dillon RB Boston College at #98. If they could get these four guys the draft would be one of BB's best ever.
