UCF's advantage will be giving free tickets to Disneyworld, the problem is when you're 18-22 years old, after about 2 trips to Disney World you're done for about 10 years.

Its already unfair that we take recruits to World Class Theme Parks during their official visit.

Fans should feel threatened by UCFs Rise to Dominance

Probably the most frightening Non-AQ program out there.

My issue with taking a non-BCS school, like for instance Nevada and trying to build them up into a power which say I moved them into a BCS conference after a few years was the major aesthetic flaws in the game. If I moved Nevada to the PAC-12 their uniforms would still have the Mountain West logo on them, etc.

I would hope the new game will feature the ability to upgrade facilities, maybe even be able to actually add seats to stadiums, etc. Like if your school had a horseshoe shaped stadium you could close it up into a full bowl stadium, or add an extra deck.

My guess is the earliest we see a new game is July 2020?
Agreed with the aesthetics. That is why I am hoping when/if they make a new game they allow you to get money for playing certain teams to build up facilities, put together a recruiting budget etc. Be able to be offered a spot in a major conference, maybe have mega-conference shake ups, rule changes, just things to make the game not stay stale. Allow you to have a vote in the coaches poll after becoming established. Allow you to interview OC’s and DC’s, select a salary, position coaches. The whole 9 yards. If they are gonna do it, go all out and do it right.

I would add on at least 1 year.

"BObs auto" has a life sized stand up photo of the new right guard in the front office - super easy work around. Next guy signs a picture saying I go to BObs auto and it hangs in the waiting room at BObs - another easy work around. The cash will flow in so ways that'll make your tiny air filled head spin.
How stupid are you? People get paid for commercial work for endorsements. Theres a scale for all of that. You cant give some no name O lineman a check for 20 k. For a picture. Thats what a select few well known NFL a hall of famers would get for a speach. There will be some rules.

I went to UCFs honors college. uf only had a dinky honors program.

#UCFacts

Everyone who gets into UF would be an honors student at UCF. I don't even know what an "honors college" is. It sounds like some kinda' nerdy shit for dorks who might get their Trapper Keeper stolen on the main campus. Were you afraid of the mainstream student body for some reason?

It's an honor just to graduate from UF when most of those you knew the first semester flunked-out...including my high school's National Merit Scholar valedictorian who went home after his first 2 months. But that's what it takes for a university in the South to climb into the top public rankings in Yankee-biased ratings periodicals.

No, I think it was right when the AAC was formed. Rutgers and Maryland are in the wrong conferences but Nebraska, Mizzou, and A&M are all in their correct conference.

Good call. The last NCAA video game was released July 9, 2013, just a couple months before the first AAC season.

Irony of someone saying someone is stupid but saying speach, Jesus not even my phone can auto correct that. And you are a moron if you don’t think alumni will pay 20k for some kid who turns out to be a nobody just to come to their school.

If I hadn’t just reconfigured a conference just over a week ago I wouldn’t remember.

Horseshit, they'll be selling autographed jerseys, hats, pictures, etc.. Tell me more, how about a speech without an "a".

LOL. There are over 130k D1 players right now and all playing for just a scholarship ( obviously some get some on the side). And people think people who are playing for just a scholly are suddenly going to command big pay checks. lol. Yeah ok.

Oh and Yeah I did write speach. I missed that before I hit send . I'm also a bit dyslexic so I have to check that I didn't type taf when I meant to type fat. At least with speach you knew what I meant. So add that to your interweb spelling hall monitor duties. Asshloe

I think a good look in the mirror is needed on this one.

I think there might be rules but I'm not sure there will be rules that limit this to the extent you're talking about. The counter argument is this; no one is going to pay a no-name lineman for a picture. I suspect the way this plays out is that it's going to have to be more formal than that; contractual brand deals and such. If Bob's auto wants to pay a kid to be in a commercial I think that will be fine. I think if a kid wants to do a signing where he signs pictures, that will be fine. But I don't think random unaccounted for payments will be a thing. I think players might also get kick-backs on jersey sales and things like that. So you'll start to see officially licenses and named jerseys in school's official retail shops. The MDen will start selling Patterson jerseys with his actual name on them; that kind of thing.

I also don't think this will kick in until players are out of HS; because the HS rules are going to limit what recruits can get and still be eligible. But once a kid comes on campus, then I think they'll be allowed to profit in certain ways.
