Why the fuck can't we have these?
They're incredibly successful in HS, they wouldn't hurt anyone or anything, they'd provide revenue for the school and the NCAA (if televised and held at a large venue) and the risk of injury is low.
It would improve the college game as a whole giving quarterbacks, receivers, and DB's good D1 level experience they can't always get from just going against scout team or even scrimming 1's v 1's.
They do it in HS and in the NFL they even go 11 on 11 full contact private practices.
