I was only disagreeing with the notion teams really believed Levis is a top 5 talent but shied away until round 2. My opinion is if he never made a peep to anyone he still does not get picked much sooner.

So semantics then.

Because the top graded players almost never go at the top of the draft.

The top graded QBs do. That is what I said before.

Not this again.

The guys who do draft analysis in the networks are just as qualified as talent evaluators as real GMs are.

Many of them had Levis as a potential top of the draft prospect.

Whatever his “grade” he was one of the top 4 QBs in the draft. That is enough to be considered in the top 5-10 picks. Especially when 3 QBs go in the top 4.

He fell probably because something he did/said turned teams off.
He had a pretty arrogant and cocky attitude at the combine if I remember right.....people probably did not want another Baker Mayfield.

No, not semantics. You doing what you usually do and thinking your opinion is the only one that matters.

I mean, you are kind of making my point. If he's a top graded QB for his play on the field he likely does not drop to round 2. You can go ahead and get the last word.

Not my opinion.

He was top 10 in many expert mocks.

It is right in the reports. He fell because teams hated his interviews. That is a real thing that happens to players.

Especially QBs who are expected to lead.

Heard the Browns picked up Rodney McCleod. Cannot say I know too much about him other than a vet safety.

Solid but unspectacular. He knows Gum Shorts system really well. Probably not a starter for you (or shouldn’t be) but a good depth guy who can help install the new defense in the secondary room. Solid signing.
