If Payton comes back, I think Carr would be a good fit. If he doesn't...Carr will still be the best option if released

When I start to think about what changes should be made all I keep saying is- fire Joe Woods. As far as Stephanski. Maybe his time in Cleveland is up. Would love to see Sean Payton on the sideline but that ain't happening.

Just the thought of yet another Browns HC. Same old same old just different year. Been like this since their return in '99.

For many seasons deeej's gone outta his way to take shots at my team while ignoring his own teams issues.

And now the QB he's way over-pimped for too many years just got benched.

He needs a wake-up call to finally see his teams issues aren't just about their current HC. Like he claimed multiple times earlier this season.

I think the QB getting benched says more about the poor coaching hire than the QB, but sure I get it.

But this isn't just about poor coaching with Carr. At some point he needs to be held accountable for his 63-79 record.

This is his 9th season. He has two seasons above .500, one .500 season and 6 below .500 seasons. Has only been to the playoff once (and has no wins). He currently leads the league in int's.

And Carr already had multiple losing seasons before McD was hired.

You said all that before, but wins and losses are team stats, not QB stats. He's part of the losing, but not the sole person responsible.

My point is that preparing to dump the remaining games and Carr to follow is foolhardy by the current front office. McHoody is definitely scapegoating Carr.

Wins & losses isn't a QB stat? If that's the case why aren't all players W/L record mentioned? Only QB's. You never hear about Jerry Rice's W/L record.

You don't move on from Carr unless you have a clear upgrade in mind ....they fuck around and don't land a better QB and next season could get worse than this one.

Like 3-14 or 4-13....which could get McDaniels fired....so maybe not bad after all.

How are they upgrading?

Carr is going to be the best QB in free agency unless you want to kick the tires on Brady.
