You don't move on from Carr unless you have a clear upgrade in mind ....they fuck around and don't land a better QB and next season could get worse than this one.

Like 3-14 or 4-13....which could get McDaniels fired....so maybe not bad after all.

Imo, Carr's biggest problem is a coach who couldn't/wouldn't change his offense to fit the QB he had from the QB he thought he was going to have.

Maybe he got old over the off-season and has had a "fell off a cliff" type of decline, but that's not what usually happens with QB's, which points to the coach/system more than the QB.

#8 or #9 pick but you have to think they lose the last two with Stidham starting, that puts them at 6-11. That likely isn't enough to get them either Young or Stroud. It seems one of those two could fall to around 5 but I doubt any further.

Chicago - has Fields
Seattle - ?? they sign Geno?
Arizona - Kyler
Indy - goes QB

Will Levis or Anthony Richardson LOL

I guess if they lose two more games they could get to #6...the Indy thing to do would be go after another veteran like Derek Carr. It's in the Raiders best interest to lose the last two games.

McDaniels probably already has the wrong guy in mind, and it could be a former teammate (Stidham, Brady, ?).

Doubt the Ravens let Lamar leave. Geno likely stays on a short deal in Seattle. Jimmy G? Daniel Jones might be available. Lots of "backups" on market this summer: Cooper, Baker, Darnold, Bridgewater, Brissett, Heinicke, Mullens, White, Dalton, and on and on.

Daniel Jones is 8-6-1 and only has 5 ints. Is he really that different from Carr? He's a more of a running threat, sure. Would he be considered much of an upgrade if signed this offseason to replace Carr? Garoppolo is also widely hated on, but is among the leaders in INT % and is 7-3.

W/L record really shouldn't be a QB stat IMO, and that's 4 of your 5 bullet points. The Raiders have been a bit of a mess and kinda went backwards this year even after adding Adams. Coaching and roster management has a lot to do with it as much or more than Carr's limitations.

For many seasons deeej's gone outta his way to take shots at my team while ignoring his own teams issues.

And now the QB he's way over-pimped for too many years just got benched.

He needs a wake-up call to finally see his teams issues aren't just about their current HC. Like he claimed multiple times earlier this season.
