I think we match up well with them, though I'd be lying if I said I really know what I'm talking about when it comes to St. Peters basketball. They have a couple of decent big men from the looks of it. Honestly the Heels should mop the floor with them if they do a little class work today.
Can’t believe they are only a 8.5 pt favorite. Cinderella going to get shipped home tomorrow.

Me too bud, me too...don't have a ton of faith in Arky though.

Same here. But dook isn't unbeatable. And I still get a good laugh that Coach Kruzawooooski went outta his way to announce this will be his final year before the season started.

Talk about arrogance. He wanted things to be about him. Can't think of another coach that announced his retirement a year before. And remember last season when he got pissed after a loss and screamed at a student reporter for asking some tough questions? It was a totally classless response on his part.

A lot of the Saints holes can be addressed on the first 2 days of the draft if it doesn't happen in free agency.

Another WR and backup RB can be handled via draft. Supposedly they think they have Armstead replacement on the roster already.

Depth at WR is the biggest thing for me. Sign someone and draft a WR by round 2.

Free agency is more reliable to fill holes in the short term. Draft is more about the long term IMO.

A receiver drafted in the first 3 rounds is expected to make immediate impact. Doesn't mean he is a #1 or #2. He can be a #3 and grow into an expanded role 1 or 2 years after. Same for RB. They just need someone for 6-8 carries. I can look into the draft from the last 5-10 years and bet i can find multiple rb and wr who drafted in the first 3-4 rounds who made an impact in their first year. They don't need a #1 at either position as they already have that. They need a possible #2 at WR who may be a #3 this season and at RB, they just need someone who can play the backup role as Murray and Ingram did in previous seasons

6-8 carries as long as no suspension is looming...

Your WR description isn't that different from my future comment really, working into the offense and bigger roles.

Drumming legend Taylor Hawkins passed away earlier tonight.
Legend might be a bit strong, but very talented and a shock nonetheless. That band seems so tight, wonder how (or if) they'll choose to move on from this. New movie coming out, metal "soundtrack" released digitally just yesterday. Somewhat ironic that their movie is about being haunted by a deceased band while recording.

My expectation is they sign someone available who would be #2 and draft a WR who should be the # 2 by next season if Thomas is still around in 2023.

BUT that's me assuming they find a way to get a QB with the first round pick. If they go WR with the first pick then that player is likely starting opposite of Thomas. With the Falcons and Panthers missing out on Watson, solid chance they go QB in round 1 which then force the Saints to probably go WR

Not sports but damn, Foofighters drummer Taylor Hawkins dead at 50. Loved watching him play, one of the best.

Almost has to be, some kind of accidental occurrence. Didn't realize he had those issues.
Yeah he has talked about it, said they almost got him once. It sounded like he had it under control. Was in Columbia though so no telling.

If drumming for the Foo Fighters isn't legendary in this generation of music then frankly I don't know what is.
