Cap rules in the NFL are so stupid.

Kind of a joke really.

I agree which is why i find it funny by the cap experts on here who got so worried about the saints being over the cap. Tried to explain they will resolve it as they always do without needing to cut several players.

Gotta include some big contracts to afford that cap hit and the Texans most likely want more cap space. I highly doubt the Texans are wanting Thomas. I see the Saints sticking with Winston

But I also don't think it's something that the conference needed to get involved in. Let the coach/school handle it.

Yeah I agree, unfortunately though it seems acting with class is going away. Being classy works every time without fail.

In a perfect world that is how it should work.

Suspension was maybe too much.

But at the same time, I know that a lot of coaches today wouldn’t deal with it at all, or in a very minimal way.
