Could very well be.

I also just think NFL execs have gotten a lot better at evaluating QB and not just relying on the stats.

Wentz’ stats look really good. But I think conservative run based play calling has a lot to do with that.

Seems a bit like Trubisky from a few years ago to me. Stat line looks good, but when you watch and evaluate his play that got him there, you come away very underwhelmed.

The price Washington paid is not a starting QB price. So I think the market agrees.
Mostly agree.....though could argue it's a starting QB price, but a mid to low end starter.

Don't really remember where Ridley made his bet.

From what was reported, he only bet $1500. Can't remember if it was FanDuel or DraftKings though.

If memory serves, it was mainly "prop bets".

Definitely isn’t mid level starter price.

And a low end starter is really nothing more than a stop gap unless he is young enough to have upside.

That is how I view Wentz.

Just above the Heinicke tier who are either unproven rookies or fall back options when you have nobody else.

Don't even know what prop bets are. Not a gambler. When I first got to Vegas I tried gambling a few times, just lousy at it. Team parlays and always lost at least one.

Glad the lockout ended.

The Dodgers need to get busy!!!!!

That team in Cleveland should change their name to the Baseball Team. Sounds better than the damn Guardians.

1,500 bet to lose 11 mill.

Impressive, LOL.

I'm such a skilled gambler it took me 4 bets to get my cash total to where it is. I was trying to lose games and couldn't even do that.

Prop bets are like over/under bets on things like total rushing yards, total passing yards, etc….

You start out with 1k on here, looks like you lost.

Yeah eventually. Did you miss the part where I said it took me four tries to get my cash total to where it is? That means I won some before I finally lost. But for how much you like to gamble it's funny I had to explain it to you. :heh:

Not 100%. But I think they are things like Who will be the leading rusher, over/under how many td passes, etc.

Fred-die, Fred-die, Fred-die.....get it done!

DH in the NL is going to cause a lot of competition for top bats on the market.
I haven’t followed. Is DH in the NL official now?

Not much of a hockey fan, but it was great to see the outcome of the Sabres game last night. Jack Eichel forced his way off the team and returned last night for the first time. Fans booed him without mercy of course. The two guys traded for him both scored, the second one on an Eichel turnover late to seal the 3-1 victory. That's about as sweet as it gets. Of course, Eichel got salty about it in post game interviews, lol.

See Sixers, that's how you do it; not losing to Simmons' new team without Simmons even playing in a non-competitive game.

Yep.

Changes:

Universal DH

12 team postseason

Continued push towards an international draft

Draft lottery to discourage tanking

Option limits (to minors in one season)

etc.
Wish they would impose a higher floor on team salaries. Some of these small market owners are cheating fans (I have family that are huge baseball fans living in Pittsburgh. It’s horrible what ownership does there).
