Hey buyer beware with LeBron. His resume obviously speaks for itself. But he's gonna do what he's always done throughout his career. Lakers fans should have already known this before he got to Los Angeles.

This has the makings of ending badly where things stand right now. But without LeBron Lakers don't lift banner # 17 into the rafters. So however it ends that championship was worth it right?

Yep. You get the drama, but you also get a title. Worth the trade off.

I like that the Lakers have apparently established a limit on what they are willing to do. It's also hilarious that Klutch is now claiming they never pushed for the Westbrook/Wall trade.

As, I believe @bksballer89 pointed out yesterday, I doubt even Stephen A (who Rich Paul contacted to get that statement out) believed him.

Yeah getting the chip was nice and all, but I already knew there'd be a price to pay. I think it was BKS that said it the other day, but Miami was the only franchise he played for that he didn't try to run roughshod over...

I don't anyone that mentions the season they won the super bowl, it's usually always the year they won it.

LOL.

Here's another example. Remember the '85 Bears? Super Bowl shuffle and everything else?

Well S.B. 19 was played on 1/26/86. Does anyone talk about the '86 Bears & their incredible D? Hell no they don't.

LeBron probably thought he would be treated the same way in L.A. as he was in Cleveland. Doesn't work that way with a historic franchise like the Lakers.

Both can be right. Because the season spills over into the next year, the Raiders won the Super Bowl in 1984, but it was for the 1983 season. So both are technically correct.

Sure, but I listed they beat the Redskins in 1984 and Wamu-pedia felt the need to correct me.

So that just shows everyone how valueable James is to ever team he goes to. You see up until this season Cleveland hasn’t been able to do anything

He tried, but the Heat didn't allow it. At that time, considering that he hadn't won any titles yet, he wasn't really dealing with them from a position of strength. Miami had also already shown that they knew how to put together a title contending roster.

In short, Lebron needed the Heat more than the Heat needed Lebron.

Anyways speaking of the Superbowl Vegas has given us a 12-1 shot at getting back there. It's actually funny because for once most Chiefs fans I talk to are on the same page as far as off-season acquisitions...

That two deep safety shit has gotta be dealt with lol ..

Course if Money Mahomes learned anything last season I'd say it's patience...

In his total prime he was a bad man. But father time is catching up quickly. He can obviously still play. But he can't play the minutes anymore to truly carry a team like he has in the past.

So I've been hearing on BSPN. knew this dude was gonna be trouble. Hoping Jeannie and company can fix this ASAP...
It is interesting because while I will be the first to admit that Westbrook was a problem and a failure; It made no sense to trade him so quickly for Wall, who hasn't played a single game the entire year. At least Westbrook can play. This was on the Lakers management, however getting another point guard. Lebron clearly is the point guard and complemented Davis really well. At this point, however I would keep Westbrook and trade both always broken Davis and butt hurt Davis and start rebuilding. I do not believe we will get any more championships out of either of those two. Lebron is declining and Davis has done fallen apart unless one can be convinced that Davis will make a full recovery

We got a championship out of it though, so I am sure that one championship was worth the expense - since it wasn't my money

The Lakers did get a championship out of it though and personally - if you can get even one title every three to four years, you are doing great. Clearly Lebron's best years are past him and Davis is far to gone to be relevant again - it' time to blow it up and go younger

Yeah it kinda seems inevitable that a roster shake up will happen. Davis though. His time as a Laker so far has to be viewed as a disappointment. Seems like he's missed alotta games. But in the end it was all worth it.
