They were gifted their appearance this year, though.Bama in the title game again.
Is there a more predictible sport when it comes to the post season?

Prove what? It would prove UGA is better than UM. Not sure what it means for the other 26 teams in the SEC/BIG.I know there has been a lot of debate here about Big 10 vs SEC and comparison of Bowl records for each conference.
But if Georgia wins this game, the rest is completely irrelevant and they will prove the committee was justified in giving 2 SEC bids.
How so? Who had a better win this year than Alabama over Georgia on a neutral field? I don’t think you can argue with the committee’s 4 this year. They were gifted their appearance this year, though.

were they justified in giving SEC 2 bids? Of course. also justified giving Bama the top seed and a pass to the title game.
Not what I mean, though you could certainly make a case UM had a better win AT Ohio State. How so? Who had a better win this year than Alabama over Georgia on a neutral field? I don’t think you can argue with the committee’s 4 this year.
The OSU defense is for real, I still think Notre Dane winsWorried about this Fiesta Bowl for my Irish. ND was -2.5 this time yesterday. Woke up this morning and the game is a pick ‘em. Looks like somebody knows something.

who said otherwise? Has nothing to do with your BIG-SEC comparison as there are 26 other teams in each conference, and the comparison is between entire conferences. It proves just what I said it did.
That both Georgia and Bama are deserving of their spots.
I hope he's right, too, since their DC is switching OSUs.I hope so
in the title game? No...playing Cinci was a gift. Not that either didn't deserve their spot though.Sarcasm i hope
Back in the day of Herbstreet and Howard Bowl games were more meaningful because they had fewer of them and it was more of a reward to be selected.
There are some very mediocre teams getting picked for bowls today
Expand the playoffs and let’s do away with the meaningless bowls.

Isn't to say BIG is better even if they continue to have the better bowl record by a wide margin. small sample size. But certainly nothing to say SEC is far better as was the claim by some.

The point is this was one game and does not come close to proving SEC was better than BIG this season. That's kooky talk. What is your point of making the comparison if not to suggest that the SEC isnt deserving of 2 spots and the Big 10 is?
Well, they went had to head in the 1 that mattered most and the Big 10 didn’t show up.

I've said all along both UGA and Bama should be in, and was fair where they were seeded.
FYI, UM was the only BIG team allowed to be in this game who did not show up.
Kind of had their way with UGA when they played, didn't they....if we are being honest?Playing anyone except Georgia likely would have been a gift if we are being honest
