Eh.

Either figure out how to stop it, or hold them short enough of the line to gain that they can’t run it.

I hate the whole idea of the league outlawing a specific play because it is too effective.

Is there a rule that I'm unaware of that says only the Eagles are allowed to use it?

If not, with the success the Eagles have had with it, other teams are stupid for not using it too.

The argument is that it's not a football play, it's a rugby play...

While that's true, it's also basically a QB sneak (which has been around forever) with a couple of guys lined up closer to the QB to assist him.

I think the easy way to stop it is a rule about the proximity of players behind the qb. And I agree it’s a rugby play.

Maybe...I'm with @tlance though...I don't want to see a rule made or changed just because a team is "too successful" with a specific play.

Ehh, I think the nfl is way past worrying about how their officiating looks. That’s pretty obvious.

The fuck does officiating have to do with it? It's a legal play.

Not wanting to see it banned because it's too successful has nothing to do with the officiating.

lol @crying about the refs responding to something that has nothing to do with them.

I’m saying if they were to change the rule is all.

Still don't see what that has to do with the officiating. The refs don't make/change the rules.

If they ban it...teams just won't use it.
Ok I was including the word officiating in what is allowed. What I meant was I dont think the league is above changing this rule with everything they allow to go on.
