Urban delivered when it counted more often than not. Day has now lost 4 straight to Michigan.

For us? He had an amazing 2014 season. After that? Did he beat UM? Yep. But only made one other CFP and was destroyed. Also lost to some middling teams. Seems like some serious revisionist history.

You really don't understand at all what I was saying. Look at Day's first five games in the series then look at Coopers. Day has one win and Cooper had no wins with one tie.

Not sure why you got such an issue with what I said. It's not incorrect.

I do understand what you are staying.....and if you want to compare him to Cooper ONLY against UM it's a fair comparison. But what about the other couple hundred or so games they coached? I'm only saying overall the 2 should not be compared.

Also fair to compare him to that Harbaugh fellow who is a damn good coach (despite us not liking him). He started off 0-5 in the rivalry and would have been 0-6 had he not essentially forfeited in 2020.

Urban was 83 and 9 with a natty and 3 BIG titles and a NC and 7 and 0 vs michigan

Day is 66 and 10, 1 playoff win 2 BIG titles (both rightly after Urban) and 1 and 4 vs michigan.

I know which i prefer.

Think he made one other CFP and was crushed by Clemson. Some losses to middling teams like Purdue and Iowa and also think he dropped other BIG games to PSU, MSU or others.

since you tried to dismiss Day's BIG titles since right after Urban how about you dismiss Urban's earlier ones (overall title and BIG) since they were done with plenty of Tress players (his title was mostly with Tress QBs among others). I don't want to hold that against him, but I have no agenda., At least pretend to be consistent?

I brought up Harbaugh because he also is a good comparison when it comes to coaches in the OSU-UM rivalry. started off really poorly just like Coop and now Day. I sometimes forget I need to talk to you like you are a 4-year-old. I'll explain better next time.

I think you lack comprehension sometimes. Who said I'd take his results over Meyer? I said they compare more to Meyer than they do Coop (and it's not really close)

Meyer starting on probation does not take away from the fact his title team had a number of Tress recruits....including the QB who saved the season.

And totally agree....even in a loss one of his better coaching jobs on offense. Went up and down the field on what was supposed to be the best D in country by far. Guy makes a kick it's a totally different narrative.......but seeing that kid before the kick and how much he missed by he had no shot.
