Seeing a lot of OSU fans comparing Day to Cooper. This loss incredibly frustrating, but I swear some people must have forgotten what the Cooper years were like. Yes, he had a couple seasons ruined by a loss to UM. Also had one ruined with one of our best ever teams with a loss to a middling MSU team.......but he also had 5 seasons with 4 losses and 2 seasons with 6 losses.....in addition 3-8 in bowl games and many of them were in middling/meaningless bowl games.

some Harbaugh guy started off 0-5 vs. OSU and many of their fans wanted him gone. Probably were smart to keep him.

Think Ohio State should panic and send another QB to Syracuse, it's worked well the first time around.

It would be interesting if funbags were still here...Sixers are dogshit but the Eagles are looking great
I was just about to post something similar.

Sirianni took a lot of heat last season but the Eagles are looking like the best team in the NFC. Possibly.

It looks like they MIGHT be able to give the Lions a game. That’s all that can be said at the moment. The Lions have lost all their stars on defense though.

Anyone else watching Seahawks/Jets?

So far, 3 muffed kickoffs by the Seahawks return team, a kickoff return for a touchdown by the Jets return team, each team has had an extra point blocked and Seahawks DE Big Cat Williams returned an interception 92 yards for a touchdown.

A little more than halfway through the 2nd quarter. lol

Particularly liked the Jets effort on the pick 6 by Leonard Williams. Only players chasing him were offensive linemen. Pretty telling, no way that long of a return by a DL shouldn't have had RBs and WRs running him down.

The only reason I think the Eagles might be the best team in the NFC is because of those injuries to the Lions.

Rams gave them a game (OT). Bears with even mediocre coaching are in OT on Thanksgiving. 6 one possession wins this year. The Lions love is a bit overwrought IMO.

When that offense gets rolling though no one can deal with them.

Baltimore was running the ball pretty well....Henry should have had more than 19 carries IMO.

We got some dusting of snow here in Nashville later I think.

Not looking forward to it, I hate rain and snow.

This is you refusing to acknowledge what I was saying. As per usual. That 3rd play was up the middle. They did a shit job spreading the field the entire game except for the one drive they scored on.

Criminally bad coaching job yesterday. One of the worst I've ever seen and that is having seen a whole year of Kitchens.
This is you making up a narrative and when I call you on it not owning it. 3rd was a little middle but more wide side than near. 1st play was wide side. You asked me to find just ONE play and the first one I saw qualified....never mind the handful of following plays to near side that worked really well.

What I also suspect is like many who go with the "watch the tape" you just forgot one can easily see a replay of the game and prove you made up your comments.

This was a worse coaching job than the spankings by Iowa or Purdue? a 3 point loss to your rival?

Want to rip Day maybe a point you could make was making it so McCord would want to walk? But you cannot say that as you'd have to admit maybe you were wrong about him (I'm not afraid.....I was and maybe should have tried harder to keep him). Saying that, though, while Howard had a rough game he was mostly pretty good this year. Maybe that hit affected him more than we might know.

They refused to spread the field and attack. Except in a hurry up situation at the end of the first half. It was absolutely the worst game plan I've ever seen. Especially given we all know we are missing 2 linemen. The D finally caved.
you saw us Curbstomped by a middling Iowa and Purdue, but a 3 point loss to a rival was the worst gameplan you have ever seen? Never mind the hundreds of other games you have watched. Holy Hyperbole.

Yes, it was the worst offensive game plan I've ever seen given the tools available.

To not attack their secondary over top whatsoever was absolutely unacceptable.

I don't follow tOSU, but from what I've seen and read, it seems like they have a tendency underperform relative to their talent level and I know it's been a minute since they beat UM. I'm with you in not being "fire the coach guy" and have said on here multiple times that I think firing the coach is often done just to show the fans that "we did something".

Having said that, if a team is consistently underperforming and has a losing streak of more than a couple of games vs their main rival, it might be time to look at the coach as the potential problem.
If we lose in round 1 and not even competitive, I'm sure it's something that will be considered. And, sure, losing to main rival sucks but the guy is essentially 2-4 vs. them if you include Harbaugh's running scared in 2020 and pretty much forfeiting.

He has also never lost to PSU who is a rival....often better than the main rival (including this season). Until the 2 point loss to Oregon had never lost to a BIG school not named UM. Also won a CFP game against a really good Clemson team, beat ND twice and won other BIG games against highly ranked teams.

And don't forget elite recruiter and lost nothing after Meyer left. Wont lose sleep if we are one and done and replaced.....but could definitely backfire.

But it's OK to blame Day for a loss when his kicker does the same and not hold the K accountable?

I don't think anyone is implying it is just, but we know that failing to beat Michigan quickly becomes a fireable offense, regardless of circumstance.
