100%. I did not expect in the slightest for OSU to lose this game. They choked. Plain and simple. And that starts at the top.

He will get one last shot at redemption this playoff but i can't see how they pull together 4 wins.
They did choke.....but players matter, too. Biggest choke was a K missing 2 short kicks, no?

It was a joke man.

Nothing more.

You don’t need to analyze it.
I mean, 1 person did ask me to find even one playcall to the wide side in the second half. Took me all of 1 play to find such a play. Worse was another agreed with him.

I guess at least you didn't join that foolishness.....so you've got that going for ya.

Yes, it was the worst offensive game plan I've ever seen given the tools available.

To not attack their secondary over top whatsoever was absolutely unacceptable.
Those teams that lost to Iowa and Purdue were also kind of talented.....and per you had a much better coach. Did Urbs just decide he wanted to give the opponent a chance that day for their home crowd?

How about when his offense couldn't even score against Clemson?

I don't think anyone is implying it is just, but we know that failing to beat Michigan quickly becomes a fireable offense, regardless of circumstance.
to emotional fans? Sure.....guessing not to those who matter.

Now if he has a bunch of 4 and 6 loss seasons like Coop? Absolutely.

The thing that has me questioning him was the quote where he was comparing that disappointment with being as tough as the death of his father.

But it's OK to blame Day for a loss when his kicker does the same and not hold the K accountable?

Day was amazing. They should reward him with a lifetime contract

Think Ohio State should panic and send another QB to Syracuse, it's worked well the first time around.
Not sure they panicked (as it was McCord's choice to leave when not guaranteed to be starter).....but I did say in another post this might be an area one could hold Day accountable for what may have been a mistake. you might address that to the other OSU fan in this thread as he wanted McCord gone. Think he would own he might have been wrong? I'd bet no.

Yeah never said that.....but you just blamed a K as a main reason his team lost, but seems that does not apply to Day?

Oh, you also seemed to agree I couldn't find a play to wide side of field in second half when the first play I saw on replay I found went to wide side.

Instead of moving the goal posts how about just admit you were wrong?

Close enough to the same thing. Any single game is not that important.
Not nearly close to the same thing. He did not say the loss was even close to the level of the loss of his father as you hoped to imply he did.

I mean, the guy had a bad game yesterday. There is no need for some here to make things up to be upset about or for which to rip him.

I don't care about the bickering. I just need another QB for next season lol. McCord has acquitted himself quite well this year, curious to see how he fares in the draft and ultimately the NFL.

I'm not going to feed your need to endless argue semantics. Even if it is the second worst thing that ever happened to him, his personal priorities are out of whack (or, as I would assume, he's exaggerating to appease the fans).

Urban delivered when it counted more often than not. Day has now lost 4 straight to Michigan.

So when you thought I might take offense/disagree you were looking to bicker, but not with the person you should have addressed on the matter?

Again, not surprised....as to McCord? Cannot say I have even seen him make one live throw this season so couldn't say much about his NFL prospects. Assuming staying another year might also be an option, too?

Whether a mistake or not my guess is they not only would not commit to him as a starter but also told him they might be looking to bring in another potential starter so cannot blame him at all for leaving. Maybe if he thinks it's just another comp. with Devin Brown (and Noland) he stays.

Where it is relevant is comparing the irrational fanbases who take the irrational, emotional and lazy way out by blaming coaches for every loss. do you also think former Buckeye and gameday host Galloway does not know what he's talking about?

I think George is there and he could be interesting IF Day was canned. Still think barring a bad game and one and done he will and should stay.

You really don't understand at all what I was saying. Look at Day's first five games in the series then look at Coopers. Day has one win and Cooper had no wins with one tie.

Not sure why you got such an issue with what I said. It's not incorrect.
