Have to make a case for Brady as the smartest. Hard to argue against that.

But does that make up for physical disadvantages he has when we are only talking about talent?

I don’t think so.

Brady is where he is because of how hard he worked to make the most of the talent he did have.

And it is Brady, Steph Curry and Larry Bird alone at the top for as far as football/basketball athletes who were able to do that best.

Jokic and Luka maybe creeping up that list too.

The Patriots failings took more than just Brady leaving. They have been around .500 and even made the playoffs once in the first years post Brady, but cratered this past season. Tampa was sub .500 in Brady's last season and over .500 the first season without him; they clearly had the better supporting roster compared to the ever-fading Patriots roster.

Football is the most team sport of all. Of course a SB winner will have a better roster than a fading no longer good team

If you just use the system to highlight games to then evaluate you might get a little edge. You don’t have to bet every system game. As Stakes noted betting system games after losing streaks seems like better odds than after winning streaks

I’ve got the Eagles at 9-8 this year. I have no idea who Hurts is and anybody who tells you they do is lying. I also don’t know what they’ll get out of the pass rush and a retooled defense. Finally, the Nick Siriani head coach situation doesn’t look great. I’m not sure what role he actually plays on the team now. The early part of their schedule is tough. I think they could start 2-5 or 3-4 and with the noise around the coach’s job that’s a bad situation.


How have you been doing with the medical stuff? Must be pretty good if you’re traveling again. Safe trip and enjoy Vegas.
