Regardless of that day games drum up tons of excitement in opening week

It would be a lot smarter than scheduling SIX 10 o clock games on the 2nd day of baseball given I'm against the tournament. Yes.

There is a direct correlation to the PAC being extinct and them catering to the bizarre late start times.

There is a direct correlation to the 85 percent of the country in the EST having kids that barely get to watch 80 percent of the games because they start at 9 or later.

And then we wonder why kids aren't as in to sports.

East coast weather can be shitty in late March so this was the solution. Send cold weather teams indoors or to the west coast. Better than having multiple rain outs week 1
