Seriously though, we'll see how he does. I'm a little surprised that they let Pete go just to bring in another defense first guy. Figured they would go with an offense guy.

He's young, which can be a good thing. Especially if he's more open to trying different things than Pete was.

I thought they would hire an offensive guy also.

But, like the Raiders did with Kingsbury (should be a solid OC) and Marvin Lewis....he needs to add some experienced coaches. The best thing an inexperienced coach can do.

You don’t want anything to do with Chip in the pros. He’s got 6 run plays and 8 pass concepts and the league already caught up to it. He failed in Philly and in San Fran because he couldn’t adapt.
