KC vs Buffalo certainly can rival this one but Tampa vs Detroit was the best game of the playoffs......so far.

Let's see in a few hours.
I’m fine with them all being good

The new craze, going for 2 when down 8. I call it analytics without looking at the scoreboard.
I get the math. Here’s the most compelling argument for me:
If I’m down in the last 8 minutes of the football game such that I score a TD, get a stop, then score another TD, I’m feeling like we have momentum on our side. I’m also a guy who thinks that you work red zone and 2 pt play package every week and you have your best stuff down there. You commit to that to take advantage of these moments. I ride this momentum taking a chance to be in position to kick an extra point to win and my hedge is I have to go 1-2 on my package of 2 pt plays…when I have late game momentum and you put the opponent in a position to pucker when things are looking bad.

OT often presents an opportunity to reset the game and create a new momentum in a nothing nothing game. I think you should be aggressive when you coach. It’s not going to work out every time but no coaching decision does. By coaching aggressively though you send the message to your team that they have to be aggressive with their play like their coach is going to coach them. Just my opinion but there’s an argument for you that extends beyond just some algorithm at least.

no but that was the root of our discussion. I did not think there was any chance they'd roll with him as starter.
That's cool but could not have known we'd be adding another 5 star at time and wouldn't have been the craziest thing to see an experienced player beat out a freshman.

a little surprised so many are leaving Bama since not like they brought in some unknown.

Such a dumb thing.

Doesn’t make sense.

Great when you get it I guess.

Not worth the risk.

Well they say what people forget is the odds of making both extra points is only 95 percent. Then on top of that the odds of getting the 2 Pointer is over 50 percent so even if you don’t make it you get another shot. Analytics taking over.

Why doesn’t it make sense? You are asking for your team to go 1-2 on 2 pt conversions and if they happened to hit the first one then you are in position for a 1 point win and avoiding ot
