They’d miss on a chance to win a playoff game too. Eagles in a tailspin and NFC South winner has a great chance to win that game.

while I think it's a little nuts to think NFC better than AFC it's completely off the reservation to think NFCW was better than AFCN.

No, but they were a bit overrated going in as well. They have top 10 talent, but outside of Boogie Ellis, they don't have a lot of experience. So, when they are in close games, they tend to resort to "hero ball" and that hasn't really worked.

Bronny (who has looked better than I thought he would) is still on a minutes restriction and Vince Iwuchukwu has been slow developing. Isaiah Collier is ridiculously talented but has been a bit slow on balancing his game between scoring and including his teammates. He's been the most guilty of playing hero ball and some of his decisions with the ball have been pretty suspect which has resulted in too many turnovers.

Also, they were depending on Kobe Johnson to take a step forward offensively this season, but other than flashes here and there, that hasn't really happened.

They just played arguably their best game of the season vs. Cal. They should continue to improve as the season goes on. Loosening Bronny's minutes restriction as the season goes on will help as so far, he seems to have a lot of his dad's basketball i.q.

I expect that late in the season they will be playing a lot closer to expectations, but if they don't start playing with the balance they just showed against Cal, they're going to put themselves in the position of having to win the PAC-12 tournament if they want to get into the NCAA tourney.
