Yep but only the football athletes. And they won't even require them to take classes, the ones who know they want to go pro for example. The ones that want to can take classes in spring and finish up after their 4 years or college pros are over or whatever.

I don't have all the details but this is definitely going to happen.

It’s going to be all athletes getting paid a stipend of some sort at the big schools. I think the details are already being worked out.

I don't know all the details but when this level of money and power is involved, shit gets done. Again, if it's removing itself from the collegiate system I don't see why Title IX would apply. After all there isn't college women's football now is there?

30K is far more than menial but sure maybe all the other sports will get paid on top of the scholarships someday. To be honest that's not really connected to the new pro/college football league that's coming.

I would beat myself up if I made a “dumb” decision. It was sketchy coming in with the matchup on a short week and then when Cooper was inactive it became a no brainer. I was still on the fence and then saw the Schefter tweet and it was Geno and don’t look back. I can’t be critical of my decision making process in this case so you just accept the results. I needed help and a win in the last week to make playoffs as a 6 seed and now I’m in the championship. I was in for $150 and I have at least $450 coming back and I had a lot of fun. No regrets

I've kind of adjusted my approach to that. Used to piss me off when guys would sit out. But now I look at it as an opportunity to see what the young guys who will be playing next year look like.
