Sucks
They need to hurry up and get to where they are going, 64 team fully professional league, scholarships optional for players that want to get a degree, 2 conferences (Big 10 and SEC), then the rest of the sports can go back to regional conferences and amateurism.they need to do away with early signing period.

The main problem here is money, those 64 schools and especially the big guns (Michigan, OSU, Bama, etc) depend on that money so they have to still be involved.
a lesser brand of football wouldn’t be nearly as successful without the college theme in my opinion. The NFL is going to continue to get free player development because of it.They need to hurry up and get to where they are going, 64 team fully professional league, scholarships optional for players that want to get a degree, 2 conferences (Big 10 and SEC), then the rest of the sports can go back to regional conferences and amateurism.

Why not? They already kind of are now, paying players, letting them move around, etc.they ain't doing the pro part but I do believe we will see the top 80 or so break away from the rest.
College theme stays though. Same stadiums, teams, colors, rivalries, histories. They just make it official. All y'all will root for OSU and OU and ND and Bama just as hard in the new 64 team pro league.a lesser brand of football wouldn’t be nearly as successful without the college theme in my opinion. I think some variation of that is coming. Every athlete on campus will get paid $30k a year or whatever and the rest will be made up with school funded NIL deals as the market commands.College theme stays though. Well there goes my idea. No way to change those!I'd guess there are legalities involved for one.

Once it's no longer a NCAA sport title 9 doesn't apply.this is yes.
but because of title 9 they have to be equal even though it's ridiculous.
See above.good luck on title 9 man
Yep but only the football athletes. And they won't even require them to take classes, the ones who know they want to go pro for example. The ones that want to can take classes in spring and finish up after their 4 years of college/pro are over or whatever.I think some variation of that is coming.
