Can you imagine if Ryan Leaf were black? I mean my gosh he would have been talked about so badly.

In terms of sports good is good, bad is bad, in between is in between. A real sports fan doesn’t see color, they just don’t. It’s all about them getting better. Any athlete can be a prick and hard to root for. Color doesn’t matter people. When it comes to sports that battle has been fought and won, by some very brave people I might add.

DTR was an unmitigated disaster against Baltimore and still had a better qbr than Walkers career rate.

Joe Flacco is well past prime but he's still better than PJ Walker.
I'll give Walker credit for badly needed GW drives against Indy and SF but for sure overall he's a disaster. Had to go back to DTR.

I don't think you get it at all. I wouldn't call 6-3 a black hole of misery and failure in the toughest division without their starting QB for 4 of the games. But you do you.
^^^This is what I’m talking about with delusions. You cling tightly to positive facts while making too much out of them. One 9 game segment doesn’t keep the Browns from being the Browns.
Just offering the facts to you....Eagles had a really nice season last year but, yes, had an easy path to the SB. How many QBs did they force out of games with that pass rush?
Nah. Just tell the truth. You’re diminishing the Eagles. The Bills have been a mess since right around the Damar Hamlin incident and it’s carried into this year. In true DT fashion, you make up a hypothetical about a game that was never and could never be played. You become the sole determinant of what you think the outcome would be and if a person doesn’t align with your conclusion about the hypothetical it’s just crap. The Bills were on their way to a loss that night with Hamlin. The Bills were leaking oil into the playoffs. They struggled with practice squad caliber QB in the first round of the playoffs with that game being right into the 4Q. They got beat up at home by the Bengals in the snow! That’s supposed to be advantage Bills with that weather. This year the Bills struggles have been widely apparent to everyone.

You take all of this in and you step out and say they would have beaten the Niners ASSUMING that the pass rush that died when Vonn Miller went down would have also knocked Purdy out of the game. Yikes.

I mean, you said "no one" which by your own admission is false.
^^^Typical. You don’t want to talk sports. You just want to play semantics. Yes. In a country of 336 million fucking people there was likely at least one mother fucker as dumb as you that were duped again into thinking the Browns had a chance to win a Super Bowl. Congrats on your big dubb.

RainMan is the King of Semantics!

Overall since the return (and even before)? Yep. But a regime that is 31-27 and currently 6-3 without their QB for 4 of the games?
Holy shit! You’re flexing on 4 games over .500 over 58 football games?!?!? Dear Lord…

Are we really talking about xtwitter? Lol those people on there are crazy
We are talking about narrative and that’s a solid place to go to take inventory of what people are saying.

Haha but now we finally found a meeting of the minds. All I ever set out to say is that shit is still out and it’s still real that it happens. It seems like you’re agreeing with me that this is still a thing. If you want to say people have gotten better I can get behind that because now the black QB gets his chance. Lamar isn’t a RB or a WR. He gets to succeed or fail at the position on his own. I don’t think it’s purposeful or it’s even evil intent. But I think there’s a real difference in the way sports culture views black QBs and white QBs. You keep citing Mahomes. Going forward, see how often he’s praised for his “improvisation” and not his ability to get into the right play, to control a safety, to read a defense. It’s absolutely different.
