Haskins is the poster child as a prospect for what I believe sets up a bust. He was a one year starter in an elite program with elite pieces around him.

And they loved his arm talent.

But again the differences between Days offense and Urbans is enormous. If Stroud was in Urbans offense I'd agree with the prognosticators.

To be fair, we had doubt about Stroud over the years and we have seen the progression but if he doesn't go out and play lights out against UGA...I probably have more concerns. That game definitely changed my opinion some which worries me a bit.

All my frustration from a passing standpoint was contained in the first half of his first year. He turned a corner big time.

Running...now that's a different story.

Nothing is set in stone with his guy but in his defense he has been pretty good for the most part in his predictions. Not sure about the last 2 years or so but kinda hard to tell with a short span anyway. Maybe the only misses is Hurts and then Kyler, who started off hot but fell off.

Thought trade talk with a 25-26 year old beast at an important position was crazy. If you’re shopping that guy what are you actually doing?!?!? Love that guy. Would not have batted an eyelash if the Eagles offered the 10th pick for him when he was supposedly on the block.

That’s a piece that ages well. He still has 7 years left easy. They don’t plan on being good again for 7 years? The rebuild goal in the NFL should always be 2-3 years. Would be a different story if they think pick 9 or 10 yields a QB they can build around. That’s one of the only positions I would prioritize over an All Pro DT that young.

And that’s a shame. I think Vrabel is a solid coach because of the culture he builds. If they get some front office competency maybe it’s a different story. They need to get a hit at QB.
