I’ve changed my opinion. I welcome the rule change. The NFL is a copycat league and next year everyone will be employing the formation. This is a benefit in the end to the Eagles. They can’t legislate away the QB sneak and my QB that can squat 600 pounds and is small enough to duck behind OL and find gaps means the Eagles will still be successful on a large percentage of them and still be top of the league but now they won’t have to defend that formation next season.

Not sure who did it first, but the first time I saw it was in a college game. Not the eagles.

Me too. I just haven’t seen it employed as often as it was employed by the Eagles. If I remember correctly, they lined up in that formation 47 times in 20 total football games.

Ben DiNucci will be chucking the ball to Josh Gordon for Seattle. Neither are good or great at the NFL level but their NFL experience will help them in the XFL.
