Not when they constantly underachieve in the playoffs.

There are definitely some strategy questions. Hitting so poorly with runners on base and/or in scoring position was huge vs the Padres, constantly popping up or flying out it seemed. Singles can drive in runs too.

I'm ready for robo-umps calling balls and strikes. Not blaming the outcome of the series on that (Dodgers bullpen pulled a no-show for an inning), but game 4 was terrible for balls/strikes calls.

Yeah, odds are comments like that will age poorly. While I think the series should be 7 games not 5, no guarantee they beat the Padres in 7 either. Can only keep a team down so long.

I wonder if the local L.A. sports media will give him any shit for his incorrect prediction?

Tough way for your Dodgers to end the season. But I see no reason why they won't be in the thick of things next season. That roster is loaded.

I'd say there are usually half a dozen or so calls that seem off but they aren't usually off by much and considering we are talking 90-100 MPH pithces with movement they are pretty impressive.

But, sure, robo-umps behind plate wouldn't be bad.

I'm sure Plaschke will give him shit; that's he does is whine.

They've been in the mix so many years in a row that there isn't a sense of urgency or focus, which doesn't help. I really don't like the 5 game series, but that's no excuse.

Game 4 there were routinely pitches off the plate getting hitters on both teams riled up, along with some pitches clearly in the zone missed (whole ball in the zone). Fox seems to like to hide this by making their strike zone box barely visible for some reason. Much clearer on TBS.

Playoff time I like 7 games series better than 5 game series. Heard something last week about Plaschke. Is it true he's leaving espn for yahoo?

What the fuck is this? So these are the types of choads we cater to when we make national games start so damn late? Yikes. What the fuck is wrong with these people?

Padre fan energy reminds me of a vegan getting excited for cucumber water.

This comment lol

"I can’t imagine the grief suffered by any of the children of these men. I would absolutely ask my parents to move, or transfer schools, and begin counting the days until I could move far, far away from what happened here today."

I officially want bleach in both my eyes and ears

Older dude rapping could've been funnyish but the choreographed effort made it downright embarrassing. I think they genuinely think they did well.

The biggest issue, imo, is his insistence on not letting a starter go past 5 innings, no matter how well he is pitching and then using 3-4 relievers to finish the game. As we saw in game 4, all it takes is one guy not having his best stuff and you're in trouble.

He does that shit every year in the playoffs and every year it bites them in the ass. You'd think he'd have caught a clue by now.

As soon as he pulled Anderson I texted a buddy of mine "Roberts just lost this series" and sure enough...

Yankees almost got caught by pulling Cortes today as well.

If a dude is dealing....let him deal.
