the starting pitching that the Guardians have/will face is truly ridiculous in their first 6 post season games.

McClanahan, Glasnow, Cole, Cortes, Severino, Cole

Phillies: Quintana, Mikolas, Fried, Strider, Morton
Padres: Sherzer, DeGrom, Bassit, Urias, Kershaw, Gonsolin, Anderson
Mariner: Gausman, Manoah, Verander, Valdez, McCullers

Pads have had a pretty tough road, but Sherzer looked outta gas, Gonsolin WAS out of gas, and Kershaw aint what he used to be. Mariners did not have an easy time either---- but the degree of difficulty has been by far the hardest on the Guardians thus far. It is not even close. There is simply no let up until MAYBE they get a Tailon or something in a potential game 5 AT Yankee stadium- which is prob. the stadium that gives its hometeam the biggest advantage considering the Yanks power and dimensions of the stadium.

Guardians are getting by on a great bullpen, an all-time great manager, and guts.

I really do not think its a question anymore either- Guardians have the best bullpen in the game with Clase closing, and Karinchak, Stephen, Sandlin (though he is hurt), Hentges, DeLos Santos, and Morgan.

the bullpen and the manager are the only advantages they have.

Now let me make this clear- he is NOT Mo Rivera- and never will be. Mo Rivera is prob. the greatest relief pitcher in the history of the game- but Clase's pitch mix is almost identical. Mariano through basically 2 pitches- an unhittable cutter, and a low 90's slider. Its the exact combo Clase has- a near unhittable 100mph cutter, and a low 90's slider.

For people that really watch and pay close attention to baseball its really kinda crazy- I would say Clase's stuff is as close to Mariano's as I have seen. Prime Kenley Jensen was very similar as well- who relied on an amazing cutter.

Also- have to give credit to Hentges. He is a monster 6' 7" big bodied lefty that throws hard but he never really put it together. Last year he had an ERA near 7 and a WHIP of almost 1.8 in almost 70 innings of work- absolutely terrible. I was not sure that even with his physical gifts he would make it.

He totally turned it around once they committed him to the pen. He has been great for them. He was arguably the MVP in Game 2 against the Rays. He is the only lefty in the Guardians pen.

It's the playoffs man. You get everyone's best shot.

McClanahan was pretty bad the last month or so for starters. Severino and Cortes are nice but come on bro...you're acting like they beat the 90s Braves

Why did he leave out 21 game winner Kyle Wright for who the Phillies faced? Also, Cleveland has 4 wins and 3 are home games. The Phillies have 3 road wins of their 5. They dealt with what became a nearly 3 week road trip. Phillies also have had the best offense of the playoffs and that’s with being shut out one game.

The setup is a little awkward with it going home road road home home. But I get that the road team should get at least one opportunity in front of the fans. But it also opens up more upsets as we are seeing.

That aside...yea I mean again it's the playoffs. And sure guys like McClanahan and Cortes have had stellar seasons but they don't have anywhere near the playoff pedigree that Scherzer or Kershaw or even the Braves guys on their run...hell Charlie Morton has 17 playoff starts and he's been pretty good. Unlike Severino.

Yeah the only elite teams this year are the Stros and Dodgers. I know the Dodgers already lost but even before I thought the Stros were better. Not sure the Yanks or Indians have a real shot with them but who knows

I mean 111 wins then out 3-1 in the NLDS. That is really bad. Lost to an 89 win team…yikes. I get the Padres have a ton of talent too but people need to get fired

Serious levels of deflection the Browns fans are doing with this.
I mean, it's really not. Just trying to form opinions based only on what we know. I think all we really know is Watson has some issues and needs help. Can only hope he's getting it.

Is it a “needs help” situation or is he just a shitty human being?

Stop it man.

You are way over analyzing the word selection of a post I made in about 12 seconds.

Yes. There is like 0% chance that they are all lying. And if he did what was alleged to 1, he probably did it to more.

So yes. Pretty certain that most of the woman aren’t lying.
Your word selection did imply you knew. If you want to change it that's cool.
