He looks like he's way over his skis.

I heard something like 70% of Coordinators fail as head coaches.

A big part of the problem is he has an offense built for Aaron Rodgers and doesn't know how to adjust it to fit Wilson.

Even that wouldn't be too bad, but they are terrible on 3rd down and in the red zone. That's on the coach.

For whatever reason Cowherd uses OU for headlines a lot. After the Nebraska gane he said OU was the 2nd best team he had seen this year lol.

Oh they could easily go 3-9, the big 12 is no joke this year. Everyone but OU will qualify for a bowl game.

Seems quick, even by blue blood standards.

On the other hand, you don't want to be going into the SEC with uncertainty about the HC. Probably better to move quickly than to be patient, then have to try to replace him while heading into the SEC.

I mean, with the backup QB coming into last game we were 6th in points, 5th in yards, 5th in efficiency. doubt it went down after the last game.....and with a backup QB who has thrown 3 terrible late INTs in all 3 losses. Watson could make a difference

And, yes, D needs some work.

Offense has been incredible, defense has been brutal.

They had a 99.7% chance to win the Jets game and lost. Two best defensive players out for ATL game, again a close game they should have won and then yesterday, a game they had two chances to win. They could very well be 5-0 but I think before the season we take 3-2...still going to be difficult to win games with a defense that is playing like this. Watson should have a period to get comfortable with the offense and just playing football again. That's why I didn't think this season was a must even after Watson returns but if the division falters you never know. The stretch that is tough is MIA, BUF then TB. Those are 3 of the best teams when healthy. If they go 0-3 going to be tough to do anything.
