I like it, the teams don't like each other so they talk smack. Joe Lacob said last week the Cavs may have won it last year but the Ws were the better team. Love the hate!

Understood...

still, is this the team you wanna give more poster board material to...?

That's another not-so-accurate thing, "bulletin board material". Like what, it's the NBA Finals, the Warriors were probably not going to try super hard but now that Lue said that oh man they will REALLY try to win. It's kind of silly.

Maybe in the regular season, where teams get bored a bit, that stuff helps fire them up. But no one is playing less than 100% in the Finals

Ws bench:

Iggy -- nice ... but 1 more year older.
Livingston ... 1 year older.

Pachulia -- who may not play at all.
David West -- nice veteran ... for 10 minutes / game. Can't rebound with Love/TT.
Matt Barnes -- if you are using Matt as example of improvement ... wrong tree.
Ian Clark ???
McCraw -- not sure if he is in the rotation.

No one is using Barnes. Clark has been really good and McCraw has been in the rotation. Also, where's McGee?

Just because Iggy and Livingston are a year older, does that mean their production has dropped off?

heard this on BSpn earlier...what was Ty THINKING...?:L

Mike Brown's not the greatest coach - this is common knowledge. When we discuss advantages by each team, I think coaching advantage may actually go to the Dubs.

I don't.

The 2 huge advantages the Cavs have are:

LeBron
And in game coaching. Neither Lue or Brown is particularly adept at in game adjustments.

Wait if neither is good in game why do the Cavs have a "huge advantage" there?

Do you guys expect any blowout game? Warriors could explode anytime which is really unstoppable, more unstoppable than this LeBron we're watching.
If there will be a blowout it will be in game one with the Cavs blowing out the Warriors. Their history of laziness and over-confidence in series openers is a major drawback for them. They got lucky in the openers against Portland and San Antonio but they cannot depend on that luck holding up.

You have to add in the fact that they normally stagger TWO of the Big four with the bench

LOL. I meant to type Kerr/Brown.

Not Lue.

Still though, are you saying Lue is significantly better than Kerr or Brown at in game adjustments?

He was last year.

Meh it's hard to know how much that mattered in a very close series, I'm not sure there were different substitutions that would have somehow made the Warriors not go cold on offense at the end of game 7. And let's be honest, there's no way to really measure it

I'd say, unlike with Popovich, there's not much difference in coaching skill

IF warrior are at full health going 100 percent balls to the wall, its not going to be much of a final. They are far better team at their best than any other team is...

Warriors will probably be balls to the wall since they are looking for revenge from last year and Durant wants that first title

I disagree.

Every time Ezeli entered the game, Cleveland attacked him ruthlessly with ball screens that Kerr continues to try and switch. Lue adjusted, Kerr didn't. It was the reason the Cavs won, IMO. Not a small detail.

Point taken. Glad they improved the bench AND got Durant.
